Pearl Certification Mini Seminar: The Right Way to Evaluate Pearls

Overview

Pearl evaluation is said to be a skill of discernment. Buyers must assess the quality and value of each unique pearl. This mini lecture will cover the correlation between nacre thickness and luster, rare pearls, and how to evaluate strand matching. The session will be led by one of only nine certified Pearl Specialists (SP) * in Japan.

*SP: A title awarded by the Japan Pearl Promotion Society after completing rigorous training and passing a difficult exam.
